These multimedia works are thoughts on thousands of shades of white. E Costa captures the constant evolutionary changes that take place in the vast physical spaces of the cosmos, and often juxtaposes them on the confined space of a small canvas. Infinity can be encapsulated in a drop of water...where white pigment moves through an unknown, mysterious door. Refreshing abstract works by the contemporary multimedia artist, whose works reveal a very layered perception of wider realms and realities.

Across Borders
These paintings mirror the variations of elements that a traveller experiences in his journeys. The extremes of climates, peoples, politics and cultures led E Costa not to define his art according to established limitations, but to use materials shaped by experimentation. The result was that the canvas embodied the transformation of matter into spirit.
